National Stress Awareness Day

November 4th is National Stress Awareness Day
HSE define stress as “the adverse reaction people have to excessive pressure or other types of demand placed upon them” and point out that work related stress is widespread in all types of workplace in the UK. As well as the obvious costs to individuals, organisations also lose out because employees are likely to perform less well and also have more sick leave when they are stressed.
