The APS Executive Board recently approved the draft of a new public policy statement on the importance of undergraduate research. Last week, more than 150 physicists assembled at APS headquarters in College Park to sort almost 9,000 abstracts for the upcoming March Meeting in Denver. The March Scientific Program will be available in early January.
