  A Unique and Exciting Opportunity for 5 new Creative Producers from the UK to attend 4 International Script Development Workshops!

  

  The Script Factory has partnered with the International Film Festivals of Sarajevo, Istanbul and Tel Aviv along with the British Council in the UK to run four script development workshops, one in each territory. Each partner country (UK, Israel, Turkey, Bosnia & Herzegovina) is recruiting just 5 participants, to attend all four workshops.

  As well as delivering inspiring and informative training sessions this unique programme aims to ensure the creation of long-term working partnerships between a new generation of filmmakers and better understanding of the local production sector in each territory.

  What you need to know: BENEFITS:
  • Attending 3-day workshops in Sarajevo, London, Istanbul and Tel Aviv
  • Meeting fellow creative producers and filmmakers from other countries, in a networking environment
  • Delegate passes for the international film festivals hosting the workshops
  • All accommodation and air travel included

  WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
  • We want new creative producers from the UK, who have made at least one short film, and are passionate about building a career in the international film industry

  THE TIME COMMITMENT:
  Attendance at the four workshops (the workshops are 3 days each, so please also allow for travel time):
  • Sarajevo August 16 – 18 2009
  • London December 1 – 3 2009
  • Istanbul April 2010 exact dates tbc
  • Tel Aviv November 2010 exact dates tbc

  THE COST:
  £800 for the entire programme

  TO APPLY:
  Please send your CV and dvd copies of your film/s plus a one page letter in support of your application that confirms your interest in growing your script development skills, your passion for building co-production relationships, and confirms you are able to pay the fee in full by 1 August 2009.

  THE SELECTION PROCESS:
  Selection will be based on the quality of the application, the potential of the filmmaker and the balance of the overall group. Successful producers will be notified by 13 July.
