  SHOOT AND EDIT RED – Skillset subsidised training

  

  The Creative Exchange at the University of Derby has received Skillset funding to provide professionals employed or freelancing in the film/media industry training and support on RED One digital camera.

  The training is a comprehensive introduction to the RED One Camera covering:
  • set up
  • operation
  • data management
  • editing in 2k and 4k with Final Cut Pro

  The RED One camera utilises a 'RAW' post production workflow in this respect it is unlike other workflows that you may be familiar with. This offers distinct advantages and but may require learning new skills and knowledge.

  The courses are being offered at a third of the normal cost, £300 instead of £900 (excluding VAT), to those meeting the eligibility criteria. Training takes place in our well equipped dedicated training centre and includes refreshments, lunch and onsite parking.

  The 2009 courses will be run on:
  • May 11-13
  • June 15-17
  • August 24-26
  • September 7–9
  • October 19-21
  • November 16–18
  The 2010 course will run on:
  • January 11-13
