Any laptop with an Ethernet port or a Network Interface Card (NIC) and a local area network LAN cable.
Where to connect:
for Internet access in the library are provided on the Second Floor Journal Room northwest and the Third Floor northwest. Look for the "Laptop Internet Access" signs above the study carrels in these areas. The orange network data jacks appear on wall plates and each jack is numbered. Be sure to connect to the lowest numbered orange network data jack on the wall plate (these are the jacks that are active).
