2010-11-09: Launch of the CEMS Global Values Statement With the goal of raising awareness of the values at the heart of the CEMS community the CEMS Global Values Statement has been introduced by our students and will be integrated into this years CEMS graduation ceremony. The aim is to give students the opportunity to formally commit to uphold these values on the day of their graduation. This act strengthens these values that we see as guiding principles for everyday decision making both as a student and as a professional. The statement will be read out once during the Graduation Ceremony. After receiving their diploma on stage, each graduand will have the option to sign the Global Values Statement book. Since signing of the statement is not compulsory, students also have a choice of crossing out their name or leaving a blank. More about the Global Values Statement

2010-11-03: CEMS Student Board - new team elected for 2011 Marco Proto (NHH) elected President Fredrik Ahlberg (CBS) elected Vice President/Treasurer The outgoing 2010 team, President Thomas Rüdiger Smith (CBS) and Vice-President Tom Zacharski (SGH) have the following message for their successors: It is with great pleasure that we will be handing the Student Board Presidency and Vice-Presidency over to Marco and Fredrik. They have already proven themselves on the Student Board and we are certain that they will be able to represent the student body in the best possible way over the coming year and achieve great results for the Student Board and help continually improve the CEMS experience. Tom and I would like to thank you for all the support over the last year, and we hope that you will continue to support them in the same way that you have supported us. We wish all the best of luck to Marco and Fredrik, and we are certain that they will successfully lead the Student Board into a new decade of raising the student voice across the CEMS Alliance.

2010-06-18: 100% CEMS team amongst 5 winners of Shanghai 2010 Award Out of the initial 1,000 projects submitted (an amount which was then reduced to 33), a 100% CEMS team features amongst the 5 winning projects and 4 of the 5 winning schools represented are CEMS member schools. The 100% CEMS team comprises LSM and RSM students who were on their semester abroad at Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business at the time.
They will receive their award on stage during the Shanghai World expo on 15th July.
