  PLAYER OF THE WEEK - AUSTRALIA Maryland’s John Gilchrist was the star of the round in Australia leading Adelaide to a 87-81 win over Cairns earning himself Player of the Week. He had a near triple-double with 22 points and agame-high14 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 blocks. Since leaving Maryland early and going undrafted Gilchrist has seen time in Israel, Latvia, and multiple teams in the NBA D-League. PLAYER OF THE WEEK - BELGIUM Dexia Mons-Hainaut edged Optima Gent 82-79 as NC Wilimington’s Craig Callahan finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds earning this weeks Player of the Week in Belgium. Since leading Wilmington to 3 NCAA Tournaments (1999, 2002, 2003) he has played in the Czech Republic earning All Star status for three years in a row before spending two years at Manresa in Spain.
