Sav Olive Wood#025 - Saturday, April 21, 2012: A Large House Full Of Beautiful Furniture, With A Library & Many Other Rooms, with guest - Jeff Witscher
*Over the last handful of years Witscher has made a name for himself under a plethora of different pseudonyms exploring various disparate styles. He has been known as Impregnable, Secret Abuse, Marble Sky and as part of Roman Torment and Deep Jew among others, and now hes settled on Rene Hell. With this project we find him focused on synthesized kosmiche sounds but unlike many of his contemporaries (Emeralds, Oneohtrix Point Never etc), instead of delving into nostalgia there is something decidedly modern about Witschers compositions. (*source: Type Records)To hear tracks from Rene Hell's sophomore release, The Terminal SymphonyFor all other information, please visit Witscher's blog ≈ Intro Song - Philip Glass - It Was Always You, Helen 01. #025 - Friday, April 20, 2012: A Large House Full Of Beautiful Furniture, With A Library & Many Other Rooms, with guest - Jeff Witscher
music to read morning paper to & finding narrative in more abstract sound containing excerpts & mixed accordingly RENE HELL is the current project from prolific and nomadic noise abstractionist Jeff Witscher. On The Terminal Symphony, Witscher exhibits an obsessively rigorous compositional style that coalesces into a strictly electronic take on classical minimalism.Jeff will be performing this Saturday, in part of the Work Related Series: Work Related II : Rene Hell, White Dog, Hubble, and Paradise, Old TOPS Warehouse, 1100 E 5th Street, Austin Texas. For more information, please visit Jeff's blog at: http://salonturnkey.blogspot.com

I was out of the loop often this year spent the majority of it establishing a small local business, which has been a significant undertaking, while trying to maintain various projects/goals afloat. 2011 has been both challenging and a year of total growth. I'm grateful for the obstacles and people in my life this year they've been great teachers. Looking ahead at 2012 ..the next dimension and continuation of the Underground.
