The Obopay direct to consumer program in the United States has ended as of Dec 17, 2012.Launched as a pioneering mobile payment service and a proof of concept for our business partners, who have grown to include leading brands around the world, we thank our registered users for their participation.
Registered users in the United States are no longer able to send, receive or load money using their Obopay account. Account balances on Dec 17, 2012 will be returned to users by one of the following means:
A check will be issued and mailed to the address that you have associated with your account. The remaining funds in your account will be sent back to the funding source from which they originated should that be possible. Or by escheating the funds to the state of your last known address if other options are not available.If you have any questions, please call customer service at 888-862-6729 Once again thank you for your interest in the Obopay direct to consumer service.
