- Community Events The following events are not organized by KCOC members. Bird Watching at Burr Oak November 9 - 8:30am-10:00am Join Missouri Master Naturalist, Sara Scheil for Burr Oak Woodsâ monthly bird hike. All levels of birders are welcome. The group will meet at the nature center and hike a favorite route. We will identify local birds both visually and by song. Please call 816.228.3766 to register.
