Fall Foliage Day Hike at the Hollis Center November 1 - 1pm The Hollis Center is a private retreat with a 5-mile trail system, shelters, picnic areas, overnight and meeting facilities. If you have never visited their private setting, this is your opportunity. The natural trails meander wooded areas and cross streams and ridges. As there are some inclines, hiking boots are appropriate. Please bring $3 to hike the property. Directions: From Interstate 70, take the 110th exit (Exit 410) and travel south on 110th. Turn west (right) on Kansas Ave by the fire station and watch for the little brown Hollis sign. Turn right at the fork and proceed down the hill. The road ends at Hollis. Follow signs to meet in front of the lodge. The address is: 11414 Kansas Avenue, KC, KS 66111. Carpool: Meet at the huge Target sign in Mission at 12:15 PM. The Target is on the east side of Metcalf just south of Johnson Drive at 6100 Broadmoor St., Mission, KS 66202.
