Nelson Island / Wilder Access Weekday Walk--CANCEL IN CASE OF RAIN This section of the Mill Creek Streamway trail offers views of the Kansas River and is often good for bird-watching. Expect to walk 3 miles. Meet at the Wilder Road access. From I-435, take the Holiday Drive exit on the south side of the Kansas River and go west to the access parking just over the railroad tracks. Cancel in case of rain.
