On take-off run at Vancouver a tire received damage and loose fragments were found lying on the runway. Because of no abnormal indications, the crew elected to continue the transpacific flight. However, in the 2nd half of the flight the pilots received a cautionary message for the center hydraulic system. The aircraft laded safely but made a full stop on the runway and needed to be towed to the terminal. Official investigation revealed damage to the #4 right main gear tyre. Hydraulic lines and wheel brakes line was also found damaged. SOURCE(S): AviationHerald
