Big plans are afoot at Letchworth.
Now the dust has settled the whole club is motoring forward, all aspects of the club are enjoying success and moral is high, we can confirm we are the BEST Rugby Club in North Herts.
Building on this success the club with a huge amount of help from the Letchworth Garden City heritage Foundation are planning a massive revamping of the whole site,giving us five new pitches, 3 of which will be floodlit, new access roads, two new junior pitches and parking for 250 cars.
To view the plans which are now in pre planning with NHDC they are on the notice board.
Mine and the committees view is if this work proceeds we will need a new clubhouse to complete these wonderful facilities. The funding of which will be down to us as members. Plans are currently being put together for you all to see and have some input.
When planning permission has been obtained in the early part of next year we will embark on a massive series of fundraising events and entering applications for numerous grants to fund the clubhouse.
