Ohai guys. My boyfriend is searching for a Mortal Kombat ringtone that will play on an LG Xenon. We're with AT&T if that makes any difference. It's surprisingly hard to find, and I googled it but nothing even remotely legit is coming up.Tried to find a ringtone from Dr. Horrible for the song "A Man's Gotta Do" but no such luck. =(
Thank you!

I had a chance to make roast pork rack recently (an earlier experiment with roast pork loin had come out well, but I wasn't too sure why...) and was even happier to be able to document part of the process. The starting ingredients were portobello mushrooms, garlic and bacon. I found that by adding mushrooms to the stuffing, the moisture from the 'shrooms (as they cook) help to keep the pork roast tender. The full recipe is on the long side, so I'here

Sausage and Herb Sauce Over Bow Ties, originally uploaded by kitchenbeard.
Sausage and Herb Sauce Over Bow Ties4 oz pancetta8 oz sweet fennel sausage4 tennis ball sized yellow heirloom tomatoes1 bunch parsley1 bunch basil1 bunch sage4 large cloves garlicApprox ¼ cup sauvignon blanc2 oz goat cheese4 oz bow tie pastaOlive oil as neededOptional parmesan reggiano for grating1)Cut pancetta into ½ inch cubes. In a deep skillet or duch oven, heat some olive oil till it shimmers and then add the pancetta.2)Cut open sausages and remove filling from casings. Discard casings. When pancetta begins to brown add sausage meat and continue cooking over medium heat until both have released their fat and are browning.3)While meat cooks, trim stems off herbs. Add all herbs to bowl of food processor with garlic, one of the tomatoes diced and a little olive oil. Puree until it turns into a paste. It doesn’t need to be uniform.4)Dice the rest of the tomatoes roughly and add to the pan. Stir quickly making sure that the meat isn’t burning. Use the natural tomato juices to deglaze. Add the herb mixture. Mix well and then add the wine. Reduce heat to a simmer and allow to reduce. The sauce may be very oily looking.5)Cook pasta to barely al dente in salted water.6)When pasta is done portion into three or four bowls and top with sauce. Add some crumbled goat cheese to each. Also serve with parmesan reggiano if you wish.

Hey DPers,I discovered today that I have a chipped tooth. Not sure how it happened. It's not bleeding or hurting, but it's a pretty huge hole in my tooth, and I'm afraid food will get stuck in it and it'll get infected. I think it needs professional attention.I have a job right now, for which I feel truly grateful. However, it is a temp job and I have no insurance. Any recommendations for where I can go for dental care? Do you know of any good resources for the uninsured? I would hesitate to call myself poor in these times we live in, but I sure ain't rich either, and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.Tags:dentists
