Want to come hang out downtown with like-minded interesting folks in a environment conducive to drinking lots and laughing at deadpan puns?Then get ready for this! I'm going to be holding another night of Jeremy's Clevely Titled British TeeVee Night at the Low Brow next Tuesday, Nov 3rd. We're starting at 6pm and going until 10 or whenever everybody leaves. We'll be showing a mix of British stuff: Jeeves & Wooster, Blackadder(both featuring a pre-House Hugh Laurie), Doctor Who, and a few other interesting bits.A brief sample:The Low Brow is at NW 10th & Hoyt, just up 10th Avenue from Powell's books. Right by the Streetcar and the #77 and #17 bus lines.Here's the Facebook link for the event, too.05:25 pm October 29th, 2009rahniaI was at The Pumpkin Patch (Sauvie Island) on Saturday, and whilst perusing the pumpkins in the actual patch portion of the visit, I happened upon a dropped/discarded black 8gb iPhone 3G. I neglected to post this until now for a variety of reasons, including no internet at my house (yet), first week of work (can you tell I just moved back?) and an accident after work on Monday that has left me with a bit of a limp and a chipped tooth. So sorry if you're out there, iPhone owner. The phone has since been suspended for lost/stolen (or so I'm assuming), but if anybody can identify the passcode and the background picture correctly, it's yours. I don't know if this happened before or after it left the possession of the original owner, but the top right screen took quite a beating--it's still responsive, however. If this is yours or you know the owner, either comment here or e-mail me at fetalpig86 at yahoo dot com and let me know the correct passcode and background picture.EDIT: K, so I work for AT&T wireless, I was cust. care, tech support, warranty, and just xferred here into finance. So. Without the passcode, I can't access the IMEI/Serial # on the phone. Apple has no way to cross-reference this with who was actually using the phone, only who purchased it. AT&T can't access this info either without the passcode, they would have to look it up by SIM #. Problem being, the phone has been suspended, meaning they've gotten a NEW SIM#, and it's basically impossible to find. So I'm trying this way before I completely wipe the phone to get the info.
