Upcoming: Pity in History
In regard to the Howard Barker 21 for 21 festival that I reported yesterday, news of an additional New York festival production.
On Friday, 23 October, at 5.30pm, The Barker Project, a group started in 1993 by Jan Maxwell, Richard Romagnoli and Robert Emmet Lunney, will present a reading of the teleplay Pity in History at the Drama Book Shop, 240 West 40th Street. Directed by Lunney, the cast includes Jefferson Mays (Tony Best Actor winner for I Am My Own Wife in 2004), Peter Bradbury, Harris Doran, Dashiell Eaves, Susan Lyons, Colin McPhillamy, Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki, and Robert Zukerman.
