MCMILLAN FOUNDATION ESTABLISHES NEW WEBSITE TO PROMOTE AWARD, SCHOLARSHIP AND INDUSTRY
BOSTON -- August 27, 2009 -- The Tom McMillan Foundation today announced the launch of the organization’s website to help promote the McMillan Awards and its winners, the foundation’s scholarship, and its sponsors. The website is now online at www.mcmillanaward.org. Headlining the informative website is a new logo designed by graphic arts industry veteran illustrator and designer Donna Berger (www.donnaberger.com), who contributed her creative efforts to the cause.
Value Added Printing – Research Results & Samples from the PrintCity Alliance
Gröbenzell, Germany, August 28, 2009 – As part of its ongoing PRINTplusX project, the PrintCity Alliance is making available the summary of Value Added Printing (VAP) research results from a graduate thesis recently completed by Jochen Wied. In addition interested brand owners, designers, publishers and printers can now request a package of VAP samples by post from PrintCity.
