Did you know that a man's excess belly fat can decrease his libido? Were you aware that frequent sex in a strong relationship can actually increase your longevity? And you really should know that you probably have undiscovered errogeneous zones all over your body. See what else we learned from the like of Dr. Oz, Pepper Schwartz and more.

Forgiveness doesn't mean you condone the behavior or, in any way, make a wrong right. It just means you give yourself permission to release from your past -- and step forward with the mud of resentment cleared from your wings.

In a report that leads with the "good news" of impending U.S. oil supremacy, to calmly suggest that the world is headed for a global temperature increase of 3.6 degrees C is like placing a thermonuclear bomb in a gaudily-wrapped Christmas present.

Some think we should let the Democrats and Republicans continue their ruinous policies of selling out the American people to Big Business. I can't in good conscience let that happen, so let me explain why 2014 will be the year we see at least one Independent in the House.

President Barack Obama paid a much heralded visit to Myanmar last week. With little else going right with the American project to promote democracy in the world, Myanmar was a natural feel-good tale -- feel good about bright prospects for the Burmese and feel good about America's devotion to the noble cause of freedom.nisacmJpBd7rXDkrKu41CDyopMIij%2B2%2BKPzXF4iX5HvS45wY5q5hZ2PkcNfv9T7TOvjk1qIvOKp611yrqRXfvcHxFZ3NX%2Fu4o69409ajekg%3DP%2BDJWNPl3xW5RH6SwX3ddAMG%2BLBCGL9feEesKV0RaGqFlWuUtFZy8svSN8gsPAxiT625HxcQ3EUWUulQih83d7oiM6Tb0Oc%2Bqjh%2FuaAOBiA%3Dsq%2FieOoe4yNUqjZJj69BD3giCX6Mp8kZxK6j8UqGy%2FK8LRppeMIuGs5BsE%2BpTb1J2RoAbgTJtHAiW2SjCuo6ywvG2lAgsKmetNDbFh6l0Hw%3D

At this point almost everyone has heard of Nate Silver, the New York Times polling analyst who had all the pundits looking stupid on election night. Silver managed to call every state exactly right. He ignored the gibberish about momentum or voters' moods and simply focused on the data given by the various polls taken in the final weeks of the campaign. Unfortunately, there is no one like Silver in the budget debates who can force the participants to look at logic and evidence. For the foreseeable future the budget debate will be dominated by the Karl Roves of both political parties. This is too bad, because the Karl Roves in the budget debate don't just want to mislead us about Governor Romney's election prospects; they want to take away our Social Security and Medicare.s37ypfPrcLTcSEOF9chLwOpbrKkYkIF5bnS0fXBaSZqF8JLTjm9II7JIyZ7MSakR5VttvcEircTISk%2FR1iK2xA%3D%3D

The change that's happening is not just demographic. It isn't that America is beginning to be everyone's country. It's that it has always been everyone's country, and that fact is harder and harder for anyone to deny.
As President Obama gets closer to making his deal with the Republicans on the budget, the most important thing to keep in mind is that the fiscal cliff is an artificially contrived trap.

Allowing the nation to go over the fiscal cliff for a very short period of time will provide all the legitimate political benefits of such a policy dive -- with few to none of the menacing losses that are looming at the bottom. As President Obama gets closer to making his deal with the Republicans on the budget, the most important thing to keep in mind is that the fiscal cliff is an artificially contrived trap. Were it not for the two Bush wars and the two Bush tax cuts and the House Republican games of brinksmanship with the routine extension of the debt ceiling, there would be no "fiscal cliff." Rather, there would be a normal, relatively short-term increase in the deficit resulting from a deep recession and the drop in government revenues that it produces. When the economy recovered, the deficit would return to sustainable levels. In the meantime, these deficits are necessary and useful to maintain public spending as a tonic to the economy.58kx2fc7LgG%2BMufG5Hvu%2FlTiO2tN03po

Is Morsi the kind of leader who will aggrandize total power and then liberalize like a George Washington or Abraham Lincoln? Or is he more like a Lee Kuan Yew who can build a state and the facade of a democratic system while holding tightly to power for decades in all ways that matter?

Netanyahu's goal is not a lasting peace based on two states. It appears that he has never surrendered the Revisionist Zionist goal of a Greater Israel, with an autonomous and pacified Palestinian population that submits to Israel's diktat. And, in his way of thinking, he's almost there.

I did not spend Thanksgiving evening with my wife and my five children. I spent it, instead, handing out turkey sandwiches to workers in Walmart. And showing my support for one brave soul who walked off the job in protest against exploitation.

At some point, your ironic mustache became sincere. Like the hippie parents who ended up voting for Reagan, we may have come full circle: from mocking the bourgeoisie to being it.

These days, when our slow recovery from recession seems like a full-employment program for pessimistic pundits, it's great to have a new book from Chris Anderson, an indefatigable cheerleader for the unlimited potential of the digital economy.

If you can't be bothered with hitting a mall and you love a great deal, the internet is truly your BFF. I don't do Black Friday, but I do love Cyber Monday.

In many ways, the video prefigured all sorts of American pastimes, from widespread paranoia about government to a loss of faith in photographic truth and the news media, from the acceptance of graphic violence to newer concerns about copyright.

Renewed regional and international attention requires Palestinians to step up and present a more unified position regarding the formulas that are needed to help provide a political answer to the violence.

With little money to spare, I'm looking for a cheap way to die and have heard that donating my body to science is free, not to mention it benefits medical research. What can you tell me about body donations?

With a defense that ranks near the top of every statistical category the choice for Harbaugh essentially comes down to risk. Smith will rarely hurt you but he will rarely win games either. Kaepernick, at least thus far, seems to be the home run hitter who is also willing to hit singles when needed. In other words, the best of both worlds.

If the past six months proved anything about the battle between the sexes, it was that many men have absolutely no idea how women think or feel. And although show business is often cited as an indicator of cultural progress, sometimes it sends mixed messages.

Republicans should show they are willing to compromise for the good of the country. To do otherwise would garner blame for a Republican party that is already flat on its back from a staggering defeat on Election Day.
Faced with an event that negative -- a defeat or a failure -- a person may claim it to be completely unpredictable, that no one could possibly have seen it coming -- a case when hindsight bias seems not only to be absent, but even reversed.

This plain-speaking young man in his deep red and gold robes, praying with such intent for all of us, a living Buddha in his own right, expressed a deep compassion for the suffering of the entire planet and all of the living beings on it as he spoke of the nuclear threat.yuFA%2FPFvrlB0zwp08L1R9l3nUfNlVKESR8nYCTOj45L7NWsAKEYeadatjlJainKjFRTlVH2BsROKX4YlC86uTWF26HHNUF%2FPi5fVqZKW2h0%3DcXiot%2BhoeV7xztC9q7GYc3WyVyJmZv%2BjbVuAshuRmCsWdoHnAP%2B8JSBIrXsyFN4EDEZa8btGfp2IfJQjfv4ECKAPthtUqsZfcWQUeBj7KJs%3DvC1XOCXBKnXx36zLFueUsKJyLTS7bc53TnOou6%2BtXxc%3D
