On Wednesday, February 8, Legion will be closed from Pear to Plum Streets for tree/limb removal. Wood from Legion Way trees should not be scavanged. The City is hauling it to a central location for eventual reuse.
Olympia residents can drop off tree debris from the recent storm this weekend, February 11-12, at two sites: 1) City of Olympia Maintenance Center, 1401 Eastside Street, and 2) Yauger Park parking lot near Dirt Works. The centers will be open from 9 am to 4 pm. This is the last weekend Olympia's free drop-off sites will be open. Tree debris from the storm is the only material that will be accepted. It must not contain other material or objects. Bring proof of City of Olympia residency such as a utility bill.
On Monday, February 6, Legion Way will be closed from Eastside to Quince for tree/limb removal. Eastside will be open. Wood from Legion Way trees should not be scavanged. The City is hauling it to a central location for eventual reuse.
Tree Debris Free Drop-Off.
