T-Shirt Printing:
T- Shirts are probably the only modes of dresses that have become so famous in such a short span of time. There was a time when plain T-shirts had enough craze in the market. But the interest of the people has as always moved on, and people are now on the lookout for printed T-shirts which look all the more attractive and add to the value of dress sense.
t-shirt printing has grown over the years and has become one of the leading areas of profit in the past few years. The main reason for this has been the technological advancements that have happened over the past few years. The print industry has itself seen several changes over the years which have helped in increasing the productivity of printed T-shirts. Nowadays, the advancement has gone to the extent that it is possible to make custom prints on the shirts as per the specifications of the user. The user could thus bring his own imagination and requirement into perspective and can place an order to see his dream T-shirt in reality. Some of the more commonly used T-shirt printing techniques are screen printing, digital printing, vinyl transfers etc.
Screen printing stands out in terms of quality because it offers a much better quality than the other methods. The simplicity of the method is another aspect that works in its favor. In this method, the ink is spread on the surface which is to be printed. The design required on the T-shirt is then transferred to the fabric, which is known as the screen. The fabric performs as a stencil then and the required design is obtained on the T-shirt.
However, in case of less number of orders or a variety of colors on the print, this technique might not prove economical. Heat transfer is a technique that is used in these cases. Simply put, this involves imparting the design to the T-shirt by transfer of heat. This method is much quicker than screen printing.
Another aspect where heat transfer method gets stuck is that it can work on only white T-shirts. Transferring blue on a yellow shirt will result in a greenish pattern in the case of heat transfer. Screen printing is not limited by the color of the print and can invariably used for all colors. Furthermore, online orders are nowadays made to obtain T-shirts of the required design. T-shirt printing is indeed a hot business in the current scenario and further advancements only are possible.Comments are closed.
